I was able to fix this problem using task scheduled. Just edit the the properties to auto start every hour, kill every hour and restart every hour. Seems to be working so far.

Brilliant, thank you for posting this. Instead of FTP I used cPanel file manager (from the Home Directory) and deleted the file. cPanel Email Accounts then immediately reported the correct, newly created quota, even though I had received the error message earlier when trying to update it. And although there is no maildirsize file any longer, the quota and current usage are reporting correctly... strange but satisfying.

yea sidebar is really annoying..

i keep my computer on 24/7 and sidebar starts to whine after 4-7 days. I am glad that someone posted blog about this... my sidebar takes 684 884K at the moment. After ~ week of use windows alerts that sidebar must be closed to save memmory and to prevent dataloss. I have f*cing 8gb of memmory so that is bs. M$ should fix this problem asap.

I mean wtf... with ubuntu i hardly ever get pass 1gb of memmory usage, meanwhile in vista a damn side bar takes nearly same amount of memmory than whole ubuntu system. Shame on you m$.

Btw on my first C course we lost half of the total points if our program had memmory leak(s), and that basicly ment that if you had memmory leak(s) on every assignment you just got 1 (out of 5) as your grade assuming that assignments did the task they were supposed to do.. Mistakes happen, but what really annoyes me is that they still haven't fixed it.

Yes a very common problem, myself still running Vista I not only get the mass memory leak but I find it will also start eating into CPU usage as well.
We can only hope that Microsoft fixes this leak some day.
